These are just a few of the wonderful things to be grateful for. Perhaps you can think of others as well.
Have you ever seen the “Sound of Music”? If so, you might remember the song, “These are a few of my favourite things”. I’m sure you have a list of some of your favourite things or memories. If you don’t, you can start one.
At the end of the day, I like to jot dow
ALL the people and things I was thankful for.
Some days the list is longer than others, and you might find that as well.
What’s important isn’t how many items you have on your list or in your grateful journal, but that you are making time to take those moments and let them sink deeper into your heart of appreciation.
Complete your day in a positive way by jotting down what you were grateful for.
Whether your day was joyful, hectic, harried, or stressful, you can take out a piece of paper and a pen and make note of who, and what, you were thankful for.
It can be something big or small, significant or insignificant, eventful or uneventful.
You can choose people, places, things, or a combination of all.
You can write a word, line, or paragraph about something or someone you appreciate.
Remember, life is full of beautiful moments if we open our eyes to see them and our hearts to receive them.
Using these insights will assist in you minimizing stress and anxiety in your life and maximizing happiness, peace, possibilities and thankfulness.
