Stress is all around us. What are some simple things that we can do to cope with the stressors in our lives?

One session of aerobic exercise exerts a healthy, dilating effect on blood vessels, which maximizes circulation for up to 24 hours by stimulating the release of nitric oxide from the smooth muscle in the blood vessel walls. Talk about cardiovascular protection!

Get plenty of restful sleep. Sleep deprivation results in high cortisol levels.

The Laughing Cure:Research has shown that laughing has many health benefits, which includes strengthening the immune system, reducing food cravings, increasing one's threshold for pain. There actually is an emerging therapeutic field - humor therapy has been shown to help people heal more quickly.

Sue has a BS in Business Administration/Management. She became involved with Healing Touch in 1998 and received her certification as a Healing Touch practitioner in 2002. She is also a Certified Integrated Energy Therapy® Practitioner, a Reiki® Practitioner, and a Quantum Touch® Practitioner. In addition, Sue has developed energy-based therapies for trauma release work for people suffering with PTSD or for anyone who has had a traumatic experience in their lives.

When working with Volunteers of America, Sue was able to provide sessions for disaster relief workers and soldiers in the National Guard while they were dealing with the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita in Louisiana.

She has been a guest speaker for numerous organizations, as well as a presenter at state conferences. Sue writes articles on energy work for alte
ative and complementary newsletters and online publications. She has developed material and has been a trainer for education classes for childcare education, stress management seminars and subtle body energy workshops.

Sue is credited with integrating energy-based therapies into local hospital operating and recovery rooms. She also provides these therapies to newbo
babies. These milestones have been pioneering accomplishments in integrating energy medicine into mainstream medical facilities. She works with cancer survivors using energy based therapies. Working in these settings has allowed Sue to gain experience in dealing with a variety of health challenges.

Sue teaches energy healing classes at a local career college and has helped conduct workshops with local hospitals and hospice for caregivers. She is in private practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. She is available for remote (distant) healing sessions and for life coaching.
