What is Obedience?

Obedience! Now here’s a concept many people have trouble with! Yet obedience is pretty simple and painless, once you realize what it actually means.

In my world, every person has a divine blueprint, which your ete
al self agreed with God (or divine intelligence) before you ever came into body. The part of your being that is multidimensional and timeless has an overview of many lifetimes got together with the Divine and members of your soul group (the theatre troupe you are evolving with in a series of lifetimes), and together you made some choices about this lifetime: who you would be, what you would do, your genius, talents and assignments. Effectively, you chose your handful of cards; your life is then about how you play those cards.

We can all see that human beings somehow got cut off from divine intelligence. In the Christian tradition, this is what happened at the Fall of Man; effectively, Adam’s disobedience created a glitch in the programming of the human race, and that’s why we needed a fix-patch from the manufacturer (i.e., Jesus Christ). You don’t need to identify yourself as a Christian in order to utilize this fix-patch; you just need to align with how the natural and the supe
atural worlds work together. (That’s another whole article, of course!)

However, your Spirit never got disconnected; it is still redeemed and continues to speak to God. It’s just your Soul and body that are cut off from multidimensional ete
al life. Your Spirit is the part that continues through all times and dimensions; it’s the light that illuminates your records. Intelligence is truth and light, and you need that light of Spirit to read your own records, where your truth for this lifetime is digitally recorded on rings that are read by light. It’s as if you are unique book in the universal library. Once you can read those records, you get to choose obedience to your divine plan.

Doesn’t it make sense that living according to your divine blueprint will be easier and more productive than getting sidetracked by your lower soul? It actually takes less energy and creates less stress when you stick to what you are designed to be, do and have! Thus, staying in obedience is a good idea all round, especially when you realize that this type of obedience is not about obeying your parents, society, police or human law (although that’s normally a good idea). It’s about alignment with what YOU are here to do, be or have – whatever that involves. You made your choices on that one long ago. From this perspective, there is no difference between free will and predestination, because you agreed to your divine blueprint before the foundation of the world.

So when we talk about obedience, we are looking at what gets us into alignment with Spirit rather than staying in the Soul. At the Soul level, you can go back and forth between what you want, and what you think; obedience to your own divine blueprint lets you rise above the Soul back into Spirit.
