Have you ever wondered to yourself, “Who am I?”

On the road to discovering my true self, I discovered that I already possessed everything I needed to heal and restore my battered and torn spirit. Before I received this revelation, however, I often just wanted to throw in the towel. I simply did not believe that I had anything of value to offer anyone. I was always looking at others and wishing I had what they had.

Often, I wondered what their secret was for having it all together. I wondered what made them so radiant, and me so dull. Somewhere deep inside of me I knew that it was not makeup that made some people so innately beautiful. I, however, continued to search in all the wrong places for the “secret” or the wonder drug that could take away all my pain.

Then one day a Voice said to me, “I have what you need. Your search is over!” You see, that Voice was my Heavenly Father. “I have what you need, Sandra,” He told me. If only I could believe it…. No matter what anyone else had ever said or ever done to me, I was exactly who and what God had made me. Who am I? I ask myself now. I am God’s daughter. I am utterly adored by the Creator of the Universe, who has blessed me with the mastery of everything within it.

And the good news is this: So are you! You are God’s daughter or son, too. You too have been blessed with all the gifts of God. If only you can believe it…

The gifts of God are so precious. God gave gifts to me to so that I might be healed and restored—in body, in mind, and in spirit. God has also called me to share His gifts with you.

Have you been hurt by people and circumstances in your life? This is not God’s will. Have you been used, abused, and confused? This is not God’s purpose for your life. Do you live with the burden of guilt and shame due to a past you cannot change? This is not how God meant you to live. Do you often wonder who you are and why you are here? If so, you are not alone without remedy. For you see, God has every answer that you desire. You are his precious daughter or son. You are here to fulfill a divine purpose through God Almighty!

You have likely been without God’s gifts for far too long. You sit barren, alone, in the darkness. You have left God with outstretched hands extending His gifts to you for far too long. Just reach up! Reach up and accept what the Father has for you. I was ready to make a change in my life. I decided to listen to God and receive His holy Word. This is what God said to me:

"I know all about your hurts. I knew you before you were born. I know you now and I created you in my image. It was I who protected you when they tried to steal your soul and break your spirit. It was I who provided for you when you did not know how you were going to make it. I held you all those nights that you cried and thought that no one cared. It was my voice you heard when you were ready to throw it all away. I am here, my daughter.

Let me give you what you’ve been searching the world for—high and low. For you I have the gift of ete
al life. For you! For you I have all of the gifts of my Holy Spirit. These are the gifts of healing and restoration. Receive my gifts and you will live the life I always intended for you to live."

In the moment that I heard these words I wondered why I had not listened before. If God had gifts for me, I decided I did not want to go another day without receiving those gifts.. Then, mysteriously but truly, within my spirit God laid all of His wondrous gifts out right in front of me. I saw them all before me in a divine revelation. In my vision, everything was laid out on a beautiful and bountiful table. On this table there were many gifts. Each gift attended to a specific need I had for healing and restoration in my life

To receive all of the gifts from the creator above, you must pray and look within. That may be a scary thought for you. It may mean facing some truths that you usually try to run from. For example, when asked to write or speak about yourself, do you shutdown or panic? If your answer to this question was “yes,” fear is blocking your blessings. What can you do about it? You must let go of your fear and begin living fearlessly. I understand how challenging it is to push past your hurts, pains and fears.

I asked myself, who am I? Yet, after thinking about it, I must say that I like who I am today. I have been on this journey for a long time now and I have come to realize that I am beautifully made in God’s image. In my quiet time, I often contemplate the essence of who I am. I am one of God’s many roses on the journey from a seed toward full bloom.

On this journey, I have discovered God’s purpose for my life. I am no longer afraid for my future. I am excited about it! It is time for you to get excited about your future, too! For you are fearfully and wonderfully made and it is time to live on purpose for a purpose!

Will you join me?
