So what if my domain is in disarray, my car is a clutter bug, my kitchen is in chaos and how in heavens name does that affect my life, my dreams, my desires you may be pondering…. What’s it to my Health and Wellness Coach if I can’t muster the energy to muddle through my mess? Why does she care if my dining room is in disorder? How come my Personal Coach worries about the bewilderment in my bedroom?
Plain and simple really, if there are areas of your life that steal your energy physically, mentally and emotionally you can’t expect to be able to take care of your own body, your own feelings, your own wants and needs in regard to your health and wellness goals until you begin to take care of areas of your life that suck the energy right out of you. By putting into place a system that works with your lifestyle, you can begin to sort out, get rid of and make sense of your mayhem and then put your hard earned energy to work in places that actually work for you and not against you.
~Ask for help. It is amazing what the power of request will produce. Just pose. ~Purge what you do not like, do not need and does not serve a useful purpose. ~Take your turmoil projects one at a time, from start to finish before you begin anew. ~Listen to your favorite music while putting your area in order. Dance if you so desire. ~Reward yourself after each task is accomplished. It’ll give you something to look forward to. ~When purging items from your home, office or car be sure to thoroughly follow through with their intended destination. Do not place them in a location “just for now”; be gone with them. ~Allocate a designated amount of time to work on your job at hand. This will give you a start time and an end time for the day and decreases stress. ~journal how you feel when your specific task is completed as a reminder for the next time organizing your life doesn’t seem to be at the top of your list.
Be realistic with your expectations. Take your turmoil one day at a time as to not overwhelm yourself. Only you can create a more balanced approach to living your life. Reach for what you are craving and enjoy your pathway to a more satisfying journey. Ditch your distress and breathe easier. You can create a new fruitful habit. Once you get started your possibilities are endless in your sea of systemizing.
