We humans are a crazy race! We spend 99% of our time racing around running errands, getting to and from work, sorting out the kids, shopping, driving… phew! The list is endless right? Have you ever thought about scheduling relaxation time into your day?
Have you finished laughing at me and calling me crazy yet? Well let me let you in on a little secret…. Relaxation is very important to your health! And it will benefit you both mentally and physically.
I know that it can seem impossible to find time to relax each day, but relaxation doesn’t mean that you need to go to a spa, sit by a pool or on a beach, it can just be sitting on your couch or laying on your bed and switching off for a while.
Try it out for yourself, switch off your thoughts, be still and in the moment and just enjoy the silence and how nice it is to do nothing for a minute. Even if you start off slowly with just 15 minutes at a time, you will feel the difference straight away.
Of course once you have gotten used to relaxing, you can choose other things that you find relaxing and do those instead, you may like to:
Go for a walkr
Listen to some musicr
Take a bathr
Read a bookr
Learn yoga or meditationr
Practice meditatio
You can do just about anything you enjoy to relax, as long as that is what it does…. Makes you feel relaxed and chilled out!
So relaxation is good for our health, but how exactly? Here are some of the great benefits relaxation brings with it!
Keeps stress levels down – We all experience stress, and in small doses that’s ok, but getting too stressed is bad for us, so taking some time to rest our minds and bodies can release this stress and reduce it overall.
Better sleep – Relaxation will help you to learn how to switch off, so if you have trouble sleeping, take some time to practice relaxing before bed and you will find that you sleep much better.
Improved concentration – Your concentration levels will increase because you are sleeping better thanks to mastering the art of relaxation!
Reduce chances of physical illness – Stress isn’t just a mental complaint, it can also easily manifest into a physical illness if you don’t try to reduce it with relaxation.
Here at Dollars Want Me, we want happy, healthy wealthy members, and as we know stress is all too often caused by money worries!

Client Feedback
When was the last time you asked a client for feedback about your services and how your office staff works as a team? You might turn up some useful information by doing a client feedback session when their work is complete. I recently had an experience with a hospital that is an example of how frustrating a poorly working team can be. I wish they had asked for feedback!
