Because I know how much better life can be with a few adjustments. I have experienced it. I believe there are people who will greatly enjoy experiencing it too. I am not Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Sam Walton, the Dalai Lama, I am the guy next door and if I can do it, you can do it.

You have to experience it to appreciate it and begin to enjoy it. Until then it is just an idea you might try some day if you have time. The truth is you have time today. You are just in the habit of filling it with something else.

Enjoying improvement doesn’t mean there was something wrong with you in the first place. What I suggest is designed to be a shortcut to places you would have gotten to anyway. A map drawn by somebody who has gone before. A kind of helpful diary. Things learned over time.

Learning how to sell products, invest your money, stop smoking, build a house, you name it are fine but can be much easier and come more quickly if you first get your mind in the right place. Adding things you would like to a schedule that already seems full takes a positive, interested attitude. There is no limit to what you can comfortably accomplish when you get that straight.

Kids don’t learn to walk, swim, ride a bike from an instruction sheet. They do it by trying, falling down, trying again. Adult things are the same. Getting advice is fine but doesn‘t complete the process. To get good at it you not only have to want it, you have to jump in, inhale water, cough, and flail around a little.
Is improving easy? Yes. It is a matter of changing thought patterns and habits. It is not a difficult process. The toughest part is learning it is a good thing and worth doing. Discovering you can actually do it generates interest and will lead to being glad you did.

I’m not going to show you how to be a superstar in business or the most popular person in town but people who are those things usually get along with others and have an interested, positive attitude. Once you get that going business and personal relationships improve. Accomplishing business and personal things becomes easier and life along with it.

Improving can be done at any stage of life. It can be just a couple of tweaks. It does not require drastic steps, can be gradual and others may or may not notice but you will. The way you feel about yourself, your life, and others is a key to real happiness. Too late? Nope. Plan on living a hundred years.

The way others feel about you depends on your attitude. Are you interested in them? Do you like them? A friendly person treating others as equal is usually welcomed. If you are not then you are sending a different message. Is that what you want?

You can still daydream about winning the lottery, inheriting a fortune from some relative you never heard of or being discovered by the perfect mate. Sprinkle in a few thoughts about the reality of your day to day life and how it could improve. Which of those is most likely to really help? I thought so.

The topic may not be new, but it still does not lose its relevance especially in the midst of global recession. You may have searched some topics related to this, and you might have read the findings from studies or surveys about how to make money at zero costs. Yet, the question is: do they work? It would be better then to get to the root of the subject matter. You might as well think about specific proposals and ideas of how to start a business without spending even a penny.
