Has anyone ever told you that to lose weight you need to have the willpower to "Just Do It"? Or if that doesn't work, then what you need is more willpower? Or, they tell you that if you really wanted to lose weight that you'd have the willpower to "Just Do It" in the first place? How has the worked for you? Exactly how long does your willpower last before you "give in" and experience self-sabotage? Again? Why Your Willpower To Lose Weight Doesn't Last The truth is that willpower is not enough. It cannot be enough because it is a losing battle. A battle being waged with force. You see, willpower is a force. It is a force you are attempting to exert over yourself to Make Yourself do things you really don't want to do! How do you know that you really don't want to do them? Because...you don't do them! Now there is a deeper layer to this, that layer being that there is a part of you that wants to "Just Do It". A part of you that does want to lose weight (and keep it off!), but there is a larger part of you that does not want to! That part is your Inner Rebel - the part of you that Rebels against the other part of you that wants to eat healthy and exercise regularly. You know the feeling - it's like you have your very own "Battle of the Bulge" waging inside of you! And it's not just a battle of the "fat bulge", but a real live war that's going on! It's the internal war between the parts of you that DO want to "Just DO It" and the parts that are Rebeling. So, when you attempt to exert force, a.k.a. willpower, what you are attempting to do is force your Inner Rebel to obey. How does that work for you? Who usually wins? Your willpower, or your Inner Rebel? That's right - your Inner Rebel always wins! So it makes sense to you that it's not your fault that you cannot make yourself "Just Do It" and use your willpower to lose weight, because your Inner Rebel will rear up every time! Unless...you befriend your Inner Rebel and put an end to the war. The Inner war that has been waging all these years inside of you. That is the war that you see on the outside as your lifelong struggles with food and your weight. You also see it on the outside in the manifestation of excess physical fat on your body. If however, the battlefield were cleared, there would no longer be anything at all in your way! You would stride forward in confidence and live a healthy lifestyle without struggle, force, or the need for willpower. With the battlefield cleared all internal struggle is eliminated. All need for willpower is eliminated, because your Inner Rebel no longer rebels! There is nothing else to fight against. Just imagine the freedom that would bring! How would that feel? To be completely done with your lifelong struggles with food and your weight? To no longer pray for the willpower to overcome your Inner Rebel? And to no longer have anyone say those words, "Why don't you use willpower to lose weight and Just Do It?" There wouldn't be any need for those words because you'd already have "done it". What would be most exciting though, is that you would not need to force yourself. No willpower required! What would it be like for you to finally befriend your Inner Rebel? To clear your Inner battlefield? How would it feel to finally be done with "making yourself wrong" because your willpower to lose weight didn't last? When I mentor my clients through my step-by-step prove System to permanent weight loss they befriend their Inner Rebel and they level their Inner battlefield, leaving behind the struggle and the need for willpower to lose weight. Give me 5 minutes with anyone and I can tell you more about their character than a 10-page résumé. I have “read” thousands of people who tell me I know more about them in a few minutes than their spouse, family or friends ever have. Am I the only one who has access to this ancient secret? No, anyone can do what I do by simply learning the Art of Face Reading.

Have you ever asked your self “Why am I in the shape I’m in”? Aren’t we all made of the same matter; bones, flesh and blood? So why do our packages all look so different from one another? I believe the answers are in the intangible spiritual, mental and emotional energies that manifest in the tangible physical body. Our bodies are the densest form of our spirit or energy life source. Our minds (conscious or unconscious) are the gatekeeper of actions and reactions to our life experiences that create imbalances in the flow of our emotions.

When you suffer from a panic attack this means that your body is reacting against a terrible feeling. You cannot simply get rid of this organic reaction without solving your problems. This organic reaction is a protection. You are doing what provokes your anxiety. Or, you are interpreting the meaning of life and human behavior based on false impressions. You must correct your behavior and you must stop following absurd ideas.

Helping people in ongoing pain and stress is a challenge for a number of reasons. One important obstacle is that usually they have learned to disconnect from their body experience to reduce the feeling of pain. The problem with this strategy is that it also cuts them off from the resources and wisdom of the body that can help resolve pain and stress. I have found that working with breathing is generally the best place to start.
