What does it take to change the world or your world? Have you thought about this awesome concept.
Or do you shrug your shoulders and give up?

What do you have to do? Well firstly you have to tackle your thoughts. Only if you change your thoughts can you begin to change your world and then on to changing the world. Simple, but let us dissect the actual thought processes and actions needed to really make a difference.

WILL A WAY
Firstly develop an indestructible will. Life always gives out some punches, but come back stronger. You will then strengthen your resolve, spirit and life force. Be thick-skinned enough to never lose sight of the bigger picture and long-term goals.

PASSIONATE TO A T
This is a total belief in the value of what you are doing, putting your heart and soul into everything you do. Passion propels success and is the fuel for continued success. Find something that you really can be and are passionate about. Passion is the why we do something and is more important than doing it for money or fame.

OPTIMISTIC OUTLOOK
Optimism needs to go beyond oneself, extending to having a faith in humanity or enough of humanity who are receptive to your ideas, products and services. If passion is the fuel, then optimism oils the works. Putting collective good first is far more laudable and substantial than the mere attempt of making a quick buck.

EAGER EGO
This may be a fine one to balance as too much ego can undermine many great works. But a belief in oneself is the engine of growth. Sometimes ego is viewed in a negative light, but look at again at the definition. It is our self-esteem and self-worth, our self of importance and the worth we place on what we are doing. To win sometimes you have to care more about your contribution to society and your belief that you can win over your critics and the cynics by soldiering until the worth of what you are doing gets the vote of enough people to make it viable.

PERSUASIVE POWER
This quality is also necessary because innovators are pioneers and after you have convinced yourself of the worth of what you are doing, you then have to go on to persuade enough people that what you are doing adds value to the world and are things that people really want.

NICHE NICENESS
At the end of the day it is about creating viable niches. Even the greatest organizations such as Microsoft do not win them all, yet they are tremendously successful and no one can dispute how they have underpinned numerous technological developments in the last 20 years in the world of computers. Can you pull together enough vision to believe that what you do enriches the world and by virtue of this, also enriches you.
