Internal support: Creating positive self communication and affirmations
As individuals, we may spend many years dealing with the fallout of negative statements presented by adults and others in childhood. These statements can range from mild to moderate. A parent can tell us that we are “Way to loud” and that we “talk to much”. An educator may tell us that we are not adept at a particular subject or ridicule us cruelly in front of our classmates. Then too, a parent who wishes to see a child have a more productive life than they did may push us to achieve in a way that makes us feel overburdened.

Sacred Visualization
Sacred Visualization. By Asha Oshun Mali We are what we visualize. That is what I have come to realize. Many of us have developed a pattern of negative thinking that has roots to our childhood past. This pattern of thinking is not just presented with words, but often images. What it does mean, is I have the ability to feel way deeper tha I would sometimes like too.

“ For Giving” : Giving back negative energy and reclaiming our personal power after abuse. Too often, when wrongs are committed against us we are advised by experts, friends, and family to enact forgiveness. Forgiveness is indeed one of the most powerful things we can do as we walk the path of healing and self growth. But, what exactly is forgiveness? And, how do we enter into the act of forgiveness without reopening old wounds and exposing ourselves to more hurt. I have pondered these questions often in my life.

Changing our thoughts to attract the love we seek
Changing our thoughts to attract the love we seek Healthy relationships can not be formed where negatives exists. If we view a potential mate from the vantage point of distrust, apprehension, or anger-due to personal or indirect childhood traumas, then we will enter into a relationship where limit is the barrier to realizing loves expansiveness. In the past, I never had very successful relationships with men. I was of the opinion then, that I was either not a good woman, or that I was cursed.
