Carrie’s passion is helping others see themselves in a new light and recognize their inner strength. She is a lifestyle change expert. Her clients discover simple and effective techniques to start making themselves a priority in their own life and are energized by her insightful, upbeat coaching style. Carrie is also a published author and enjoys writing articles to help inspire others on living a life they love. She is great at zeroing in on where her client’s passions lie and has very clear, targeted advice and always has her client’s best interest at heart.

She graduated from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City; and has learned from experts at the forefront of wellness. A few of her distinguished teachers were Deepak Chopra world leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Andrew Weil MD a Harvard Medical School graduate and bestselling author devoted to integrative medicine; Joshua Rosenthal founder and primary teacher at Integrative Nutrition; and Be ie Siegel MD, an internationally recognized expert in the field of cancer treatment and complementary holistic medicine.

In addition, she has a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Communication from The Ohio University. She spent 8 years in corporate environments where she primarily focused on training and development. This included creating curriculum for classes, teaching, and managing corporate training programs. She left her corporate career to raise her two daughters and realized there was nothing more rewarding and challenging at the same time than being a mom. There came a point when she knew it was the right time to begin a new career. She loves to guide and inspire others and has often been called “the counselor friend” and soon realized her calling in life was to help support and empower others as they make changes in their life so that they are living life to the fullest. She is gifted at asking thought provoking questions that help you realize things you wouldn’t see on your own.

Carrie is an avid traveler and enjoys trying new adventures whether it is a new restaurant, going hiking, skiing or snorkeling. She just started to enjoy cooking over the last several years and admits it must be easy, healthy and delicious recipes or she hands it over to her husband who has a more gourmet cooking ability. She loves to photograph nature and support environmental and organic food efforts for our world.

Carrie believes everything feeds our spirit including how we think, what we experience and what we eat. She specifically targets your challenges and fears and unfolds them to guide you in the direction needed for you to overcome and conquer them. She empowers her clients and believes everyone should know their brilliance and enjoy life!

I have conquered my fear of heights! For years my story was that I was scared of heights. Whenever I was in a place high enough where you could look down my heart would pump faster, my knees would get weak and I could barely breathe.

When the seasons begin to change, it is a perfect time to pause and reflect on what’s working and what’s not working in your life. It’s often hard to admit what’s not going well because it means we have to change something to make it better and change can be uncomfortable.

Spring is the perfect time of the year to clean out, whether it is cleaning out the clutter in your home with spring cleaning or cleaning out the toxins in your body with a spring cleanse. Spring is a time of growth and renewal as we transition from the darker days of winter to the brighter days of spring.

I found a picture of me at the age of 3 or 4 playing in my play kitchen and looking as happy as can be. As I looked at the picture, I had a huge “aha” moment. I realized that my play kitchen was a mess and looked completely chaotic, but I was so happy. I was a messy and chaotic cook when I was a kid and I am still a messy and chaotic cook as an adult and it works!

Do you have those days when you just can’t seem to wake up no matter what you do? Do you often stay up late trying to finish your “to do” list for the day and then have trouble pulling yourself out of bed the next morning? We often think that missing an hour here and there of sleep won’t affect us, but those missing hours add up and can cause havoc on our bodies and in our lives. In order for us to be at our optimal best, we need sleep. The amount of sleep and the quality of our sleep affects the quality of our life each and every day.

When you think of the word love what comes to mind? Do you think about the people and things you care most about? Does it bring emotions of joy and kindness? When you think of the word love does it make you smile from the inside because love makes you feel happy? Most of us think of positive emotions when we think of the word love. When we allow ourselves to love someone or something it can bring emotions of passion and joy that are only felt when love is part of it. The energy love brings is powerful.

I was recently asked the question, “What inspires me?” by Jamie Eslinger from the awesome organizatio Women on Fire . She posed that question to me last week. While I gave her my answer, that question has been on my mind since. The answer I shared with her was right on with what I feel inspires me, however I felt the need to write about it a little more in depth and truly appreciate the top three things that inspire me.

Would you like to feel really good about your life and have more abundance? One way to get started is to add gratitude into your daily life. It is so easy to focus on what’s not going right or what we don’t have, but it takes a little more practice to appreciate all the wonderful things in our life that we often take for granted. When you start to recognize what you are grateful for you will have a positive shift in how you feel and you will begin to notice more abundance in your life.
