Linda Carter

Linda is the mother of six children, and grandmother of ten children, ages range from 22-42. She has 20 years of soberity, and has seventeen years experience providing culturally based therapeutic substance abuse counseling, health education, and family crisis Intervention, knowledge of case management, and social services structures. Certified Alcohol/Addiction/ Drug Counselor with strong knowledge of 12 Step Recovery Process, Domestic Abuse Prevention, Child Abuse Prevention, and Behavior Modification.

Linda has worked for several companys Spiritt Family Services, Beyond Shelter, Joint Efforts, Marvin Gardens, and Free In One. She facilitate educational/process groups in the abstinence of all mind alterinf drugs, topics on what is addiction, denial, victim, freedom, what are triggers, Etc. Provide services for Adolescent Programs, provided and developed Individual, and family plans guilding them back on a positive road.

Linda teaches the dynamics of alcoholism, addiction, denial, family dynamics, defense mechanism and behavior modification. she has facilitated Co-dependency groups, teaching on how childhood traumas still carries into there adult life causeing destructive behaviors. She teaching them how to use the mirror to face themself, learn how to write to find themself. Educate and support Individuals with one-on-one's, group and Family counseling.
