Robert Ringer

Robert Ringer is an American icon whose insights into life have helped more people transform their aspirations and goals into reality than perhaps any other author in history. In the early 1980s, Ringer published a number of other authors’ books, and at one time had a string of four New York Times bestsellers in a row, including one book that was #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for 15 consecutive weeks.

His success created such a stir in the mainstream publishing industry that The Wall Street Jou
al ran a front-page article about his marketing feats, and Fortune magazine followed that up with a three-page article about how he had shocked the New York publishing establishment.

During the 1980s, Ringer also published The Tortoise Report, a highly acclaimed monthly newsletter that espoused laissez-faire capitalism and provided readers with insights and advice on how to achieve their personal and financial goals.

As a result of his research for The Tortoise Report, Ringer also became a pioneer in the cellular-telephone industry at a time when most people had not yet heard of the technology. His unequivocal recommendations to invest in cellular-telephone lotteries made millions of dollars for many of his subscribers.
