I was a co-founder and working partner of this multi million euro food import business for 12 years before I launched my own marketing coaching business. I belong to a mastermind group, but we haven't been meeting up so frequently over the past year and so when we finally caught up the other day it was lovely to hear how everyone is getting along in their life and business. One of the ladies has written a book, and I thought she would have had it published by now since the last time we spoke a few months ago that was the plan. One of the most important steps in marketing is building the know, like and trust with your potential clients. This is where you will be spending a lot of your marketing time. When someone new joins your community (your list), you have to assume they know very little about you yet. Your job is to allow them to get to know you. It's no different to any other relationship.
