Tulum trained at the Association Montessori Internationale in London, England. She is a credentialed and certified educator and counselor. Tulum has been teaching for 30 years, and working with families for 35 years.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Tulum Dothee and I have spent the past 35 years teaching and working with children, parents and adults. I run a Montessori-based preschool in Nevada County, Califo ia.

I write and teach classes in Mindful Parenting and self help and see private clients for parental and teacher coaching and clinical hypnotherapy.

I am passionate about finding ways to be with children as a parent and as an educator that promotes respect and dignity for everyone.

I've explored many philosophies including Maria Montessori, Alfred Alder, Rudolph Dreikers and Jane Nelson. I have tested their techniques, taken the best from them all, and combined my own experiences to develop a system that has worked successfully for me and for the many parents that I have counseled.

Mindful Parenting is a way of interacting with children based on over 100 years of proven methods from the masters. It focuses on observing your children, combining your insights with knowledge of their developmental stages, and understanding the impact of your influence.
