ABC’s of Self-Realization: Quiet Quintessence

The definition of quintessence is: The pure, highly concentrated essence of a thing.
In ancient and medieval philosophy, the fifth and highest essence after the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water, thought to be the substance of the heavenly bodies and latent in all things.
The definition of quintessence totally captures my attention and brings me much comfort. The essence of Who We Truly Are is right up there within the very elements of nature: earth, air, fire, and water. To know that our core being is a part of the same substance as the heavenly bodies is quite literally magnificent! All living things, in fact, everything created on this earth and quite possibly, within the entire universe, all have the same core, the same DNA, the same substance as we do! Whoa! Consider the impact of that statement. Consider the ramifications, the truth, the EMPOWERMENT granted to all human beings, based on that statement. And again, whoa!
The saying, “Listen to the small, quiet voice within” – well, that quiet voice is the part of us that exemplifies True Essence. It is our soul, our spirit, our very being speaking to us from a place of wisdom, insight and intuition. It’s Everything We Were Meant to Be. It’s our Real, True, Authentic Self, quietly speaking to us, whispering in love, to remind us to keep our intuition working and our hearts open. It reminds us to wake up, to live from a place of awareness, consciousness, truth, and acceptance.
In our quiet quintessence, we are able to see the world as it was meant to be. We are able to breathe in the beauty and truth of who we are and what our purpose is. We are able to see the positive, the good, and the reflections of beauty and truth within the very essence of others. That is Life’s Intention.
When we seek to calm our minds, to center our thoughts, to open our hearts, and to let life be as it is, our acceptance is what allows us the ability to touch the world and create a ripple effect that spreads to others. That ripple is a gentle nudge, a soft touch of awareness that makes a difference in the world. It causes a positive change, a higher vibration of GOOD that envelops all of humanity. With one ripple at a time, in quietness and acceptance and peace, we shall we make a positive change in the world. So shall it be.

How Could This Be About Me?
Dear Keith and Maura, I just found your website and podcasts yesterday and they totally resonate with me. I am a very active youthful 55. I was widowed suddenly at 32 with 2 babies. My soulmate died and I was lost and devastated. I banged around for 10 years raising my boys, working and trying to find a similar loving relationship as I had. I met losers, liars, cheaters, alcoholics, and abusers.
