"You grow in awareness
by becoming conscious
of what is unconscious
in mindfulness meditation.

You have been meditating for years
thinking your mind is still in meditation,
and then suddenly you see
you have been lost in your thinking the whole time
without even knowing it.

Because of our conditioning,
the tendency is to feel down about yourself,
to feel like this realization
that you have been unconscious for so long
means you have failed.

But the realization that you have been
caught up in thinking
for the last 20 years of mindfulness meditation
is a great realization.

Because it means suddenly
you are aware
of what you have not been aware of
for over 20 years.

You take a quantum leap
in awareness because of this.

Many people spend their time
trying to convince themselves
and others how great they are,
how aware they are.

It is not wrong,
we were taught to impress others.
It is ingrained in us to do so.

But in spending so much time
trying to create ourselves
to be a certain way,
we do not see what is actually here.

We have simply created
the idea of consciousness
on top of our unconsciousness.

For awareness to grow
you have to be willing
to observe without judgement.

To allow yourself to be honest
and vulnerable enough
to see what is unconscious.

It can be as simple as
closing your eyes
and watching your breath
and then becoming aware
of everything that takes you away
from your focus on your breath.

The moment you become aware
of the unconscious,
it becomes conscious.

It does not matter
what you see.

It is the seeing itself
that is important.
Blessings,
Kip"

He never feels satisfied even after receiving love from people. His hunger for love never ceases, and hence he demands more and more attention from others. As a result, his relationships are ruined and he always lives in misery.rn rnSo,

Grave danger in uprooting a Guru Do not accept a known guru as guru, and if you do, then do not turn your back on him. Use a pot if you do not like him. The pot will not have any problems. Worship it because your buddhi (intellect) will not be active there and your work will get done. Now who would be so careful that he would not allow his intellect to interfere? How can one understand all this? Questioner: At the time we make someone our guru, he appears to be very good, he

The spiritual science of Akram Vignan helps us find the balance between taking care of our material responsibilities and pursuing our spiritual goals, very easily, as this spiritual science works alongside our material obligations. In Akram Vignan, the fundamental change starts internally when the ignorance of the Self is completely removed through the grace of the Enlightened Being (Gnani Purush). Here, Self-Realisation is attained through a scientific process of Bhed-Vignan

Questioner: If we surrender to the great souls that lived thousands of years ago, can that be considered surrender? Can we make any progress through such surrender or do we need to surrender to a living great man? Dadashri: You can progress even through Paroksha (indirectly- one not currently living). However if you find such a living (Pratyaksh) person, then your liberation will be instant. The indirect approach will give you the benefit of progress but there is no liberatio
