Hi there. I run the personal development website, FredTracy.com, where I share my experiences and insights on a lot of topics, including finances, spirituality, inner peace, and self help.

Here's a little about me.

I spent many years being depressed, apathetic, and cynical. My emotions and sense of self worth were completely in the hands of others. I didn't know or care about my deepest purpose. I wouldn't really call my life "living" back then.

Fast forward a decade or so and I've completely turned that around. I took control of my life, my confidence, and my purpose. I realized I have the power to create whatever kind of experience I want. I decided that I would create the best possible life for me, and the people around me, each and every day.

There are few things in life worth more than happiness and inner peace. People seek after many things. Material objects, fame, and fortune are often among these. What is the goal of getting things? In fact, the exte al world is relatively unimportant in terms of happiness. What is important is your internal world.

Learning how to set a definite, strong personal boundary is one of the keys to leading a successful, happy life.

One of the mistakes we all make in our arguments and disagreements with loved ones is bringing up the past. How many times have you been talking to your partner about an important issue, in a pleasant tone, only to have them raise their voices and complain about events that happened ages ago? Or perhaps you're the one who can't focus and constantly references past events. Either way, it's a bad habit that needs to be broken. Here are 3 reasons why you shouldn't bring up the past in arguments. 1. It creates resentment

The common view of love is one of fleeting, unpredictable passion. To most, love is something that has to "be there." It's a feeling that strikes you, and if you don't feel it, then you (and your significant other) are out of luck. After all, you have to fall in love with someone to love them, right? Nothing could be farther from the truth. This viewpoint is simply a delusion. If you aren't in control of your life, then your best hope is that love will choose you. If you are in control, then you can make the choice to love.

Raising your level of consciousness is one of the most important endeavors you could ever undertake. People try a lot of things to make them happy. Some seek money, others power and prestige. In the end they all seem to find the same key principle: happiness isn't found in exte al things. Rather than seeking outside, you have to go in. Happiness comes from how you see the world, which is synonymous with your level of consciousness.
