__________________________________________________ This story is a wonderful of using EFT to help a client receive wonderful results and postpone his needed surgery.. I recently worked with a client, Harold, a gentleman in his 70’s whose doctor had told him that he had a heart arrhythmia -irregular heart beat. His doctor was monitoring him for surgery for a pace maker. Harold’s strong negative emotions for the surgery made him open to “try anything” (within reason) - which is why, a fairly conservative man was open to try tapping.

When I was a Business Development Executive, I would “chase” (yes, that’s the word we used) after really big, multi million dollar deals. Often, it would take months (or even years) of marketing to finally get that new client. Then what would happen, I would be so busy with my new (very large) client, that I would stop marketing to attract new clients. All of a sudden, a few weeks or month later, I’d turn around and I had no new business coming in. Nothing in the pipeline. Boy, was that scary.

When I was a flight attendant (back when it was actually fun to be one), I worked with so many different types of personalities. One crew member was so silly and dramatic. I remember him so clearly. He was able to get away with saying anything and passengers would just laugh. He had the absolute best delivery. One of his famous lines to passengers asking if he had an extra pen they could use was, “Do you mean to tell me you’re traveling internationally and you didn’t bother to bring a pen. That doesn’t seem very smart”.

The strangest thing happened to me the other day. I was invited to the Cape (aka Cape Cod for those of you outside Massachusetts), and my response was I needed to check my schedule. Wow! That response stopped me dead in my tracks. The invitation was for 3 weeks away that was certainly enough notice to reschedule the 8 appointments that were scheduled during that time frame.r

Everyday I take hundreds of different types of action. Some little –some big. I find that the “in limbo” state of not knowing what to do often gets in the way and keeps me stuck. I used to play different scenarios in my head of which way I want to go. I got really tired of doing things that way and came up with a sure fired way to make decisions to get me into action. Especially, being known as an expert of “busting through procrastination”, I realized that this “in limbo” place was a problem and had to go!

When I worked in Corporate, we always had an annual event in another state. All 5 offices of my company would come together for these 2 days. They would have a motivational speaker for us to listen to. Once, it was someone from Dale Carnegie (How to Influence People and Win Friends). I won the first prize contest which was a beautiful, fancy pen given with the purpose to sign future big commission checks. The officers of the company would talk about the past year and plans for the future. Lots of “rah-rah” and drinking the company "kool-aid".
