Discovering Your Unique Ability
“The man, who is born with a talent which he is meant to use, finds his greatest happiness in using it.” - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe I’m sure you’d agree that most people spend a lot of their time doing things they’re not passionate about. As you read through the following four categories think about how much time you spend in each area. Incompetence: these are the activities that you don't do well and that you have no interest in doing. When you spend time in the area of “incompetence” there’s no potential for your growth, advancement, or fulfillment.

Change Your Perspective
I'd like to share a Yiddish Folktale that illustrates the power of changing your perspective... There once was a farmer who became very disenchanted with his life. He decided to go see his Rabbi for advice. The Rabbi asked him what was making him feel so bad and the man replied, "I just can't take it anymore! I have a wife and two children living at home in one small room.

Are You Using "The Force" To Your Advantage?
Do you recall the original "Star Wars" trilogy? The third movie in that series was titled "The Empire Strikes Back." There's a wonderful scene in that movie that conveys the struggle many of us face when it comes to believing in our ability to accomplish our goals and dreams. In case you've never seen the movie, or don't recall the scene, let me briefly set it up for you. One of the main characters (Luke Skywalker) crash lands on an eerie planet while in search of the famous Jedi Master, Yoda (I like to think of Yoda as a modern day "mentor" or "coach").

Finding Possibility In The Impossible
Why is it that some of the goals you have in life are effortlessly achieved, if almost by "magic," and no matter what you do others never materialize? I believe the answer lies in what I'll call "possibility thinking." For example, very often clients tell me they want "financial independence," but after a little exploratio I find out they don't really believe it's possible.

How To Access The Mysterious Force Of Intuition
Have you ever had a gut feeling about something you should do or some action you should take? I'm going to assume that you have, because what I'm referring to is often called "intuition" and I believe everyone has "it." Let me give you a personal example. I was recently sitting in my office doing some admin stuff when a good friend came to mind, quickly followed by an intuitive message that I should call her. So, I decided to "follow-up" and gave her a call.

Have you ever had a bad day? I know, dumb question. Of course you have. Everyone has, and even more important most of us continue to have them. In fact, lots of them! So, have you ever wished you knew how to turn a "bad" day into a "good" one? Once again, dumb question. Of course you have. Well let me tell you what recently happened to me. The 7 Day Mental Challenge
The "7 Day Mental Challenge" is designed to help you practice two of the skills necessary for living a life filled with happiness and success; "awareness" and "controlling and directing your thinking." Like a muscle, your mind needs constant exercise to grow and stay in shape. This challenge is a form of exercise for your mind. And believe me, it IS a challenge! Unfortunately the "mental exercise" the majority of people get on a regular basis is unhelpful. It usually has the opposite effect of what they truly need to experience a great life.

7 Tips For Making Better Choices
I believe many of us do not actively choose what we want in our lives. Let me give you a personal example. For years I simply went with the flow, so to speak. It was if I was in a rowboat, with no oar, out on the river of life. I went wherever the river took me and unfortunately it took me to some pretty depressing places. One area that was particularly challenging was choosing a career. I always took the path of least resistance, usually abdicating any choice I had, especially if it involved a difficult decision. It just seemed easier to live for each day, and never worry

You Can't Avoid Your Destiny
Have you see Kung Fu Panda yet? If not, I suggest you go out and buy or rent it. It's really amazing. I love the animation, but that's not even the best thing about this movie. It's what was said. Yes, there were a few things said in the movie that hit me right between the eyes. They were that powerful. There was one in particular that kind of hurt. Sort of like when someone smacks some sense into you.

The Attitude of Gratitude
“It is impossible to feel grateful and depressed in the same moment.” - Naomi Williams You may not like what I’m about to share with you here, but after years of suffering from feeling “down,” “sad,” and “depressed” I can guarantee that what I’m about to tell you is true. If you’re feeling sad right now it’s because you’re deleting all the things you could focus on that would make you feel good. I know, it sounds way too simple. And guess what?
