Recently I realized that I have been an entrepreneur since I was a young girl. When I was seven I received a potholder making kit and a bag of colorful fabric strips to design the most beautiful potholders for my mom. When I had made her more potholders than she could possibly use I was smitten by the possibility of designs I could create and realized that I could sell them. So, off I went to my little town of Tustin, MI to sell potholders from door to door for 25 cents.

Most of my life has been spent as an entrepreneur, developing businesses and I've always been interested in health. As a very young mom continuing school was not really an option so I set about self-educating myself and creating small home businesses to supplement our income. Some of them included feather jewelry, custom designed western shirts, professional musician, all adding to my growth.

In my forties I was sent my spiritual teacher, Chetana Catherine Florida who founded the Lighthouse Center, a spiritual developent and meditation center in Whitmore Lake, MI. As a gifted spiritual mentor I always thought of her as my spiritual mother and studied with her for 12 years before she transcended. Her teacher, Gurudev Chitrabhanuji, a renowned Jain monk, who was the first Jain monk to ever leave India and spent some of his youth with Ghandi, still teaches at the Lighthouse Center yearly in the summer when he is here in the United States.

My Loving Spiritual Teachers led me to becoming a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and to work on practicing Ahimsa, living peacefully with all Living Beings in thought, word and action.

These experiences brought me to write my first book: Your Money, Your Power: 10 Ideas for Mindful Spending to Create a Healthy, Green Planet. The intent is to empower people to use their daily purchasing and actions in creating a more healthy, peaceful world. With a workbook in the back of the book it becomes a daily journal to create ideas and use them daily.

My writings are now focused, in 2013, on my blog GreenLivingPlanet.co with a focus on how our individual actions do change the world and how we can use them.

My commitment is to empower people to develop an Abundant Lifestyle - dispelling the internal unhappiness; Green Living - creating a healthy planet and Healthy Body - our natural state when our internal and exte al environments are in harmony.
