Most of us enjoy a good action movie. Watching the battle between good and evil is always entertaining. In the end one of the co-stars is killed. Sometimes it is the good character and sometimes it is the evil leader. What we need to be careful of is transferring what we see in movies into our relationships. Often when we are having challenges in our relationships, these vivid images of the endings to movies come to mind. There is one difference that needs to be noted. In a relationship, there is no good or bad guy. No one deserves to die.

The Oil of Life
One day while taking a visit to the grocery store, I heard a customer in front of me say, “????? (phonetic- yo may yo yo? Pinyin- you mei you you?)” As I waited in line, I watched as the cashier understood this complex logic of using the same words of pronunciation to form a question and also to state an answer. To a foreigner this sentence seemed strange and unable to be decoded. However, when you have discovered there is a common way to decode this sentence, you can easily answer too.

The Wheels on the Bus Again
Have you ever had strange experiences that turned into revelations? This week I had the chance on a rather interesting bus ride. This time the drivers did not change in the middle of the shift, but the adventure was equally as entertaining. On my way to deal with matters I decided to ride the bus. This bus has a driver and a ticket seller that stands near the door of the bus. The ticket sellers typical routine is to announce the stop around 200 meters from the bus stop, then again 50 meters from the bus stop and then finally around 10 meters from the bus stop.
